I think this is my 11th or 12th laptop in the past 11 months. Part of the reason I buy a new laptop every month is I’m a geek and like the latest and the greatest.. but I also need backup computers since I beat these things up on the road. I’ve already damaged 2 of those 11 laptops so far.. haha. Anyway, I was not looking for the most expensive box out there this time around… so I saw this deal at Fry’s for one of these new Core 2 duo Merom based machines… saw this FE series for only $990 (after a coupon I had) so I got it. Irony is I already have an FE series identical to this one, only it’s the Core Duo processor (not the Core 2), it also runs great.
